The Sahara Centre project involved a comprehensive digital transformation of the organization’s online presence. Beyond a simple visual refresh, the initiative focused on restructuring how research and case study data is accessed and utilized by the public. By transitioning from a static information portal to a high-utility research hub, the platform now serves as a critical resource for organizational transparency and knowledge dissemination.

My Role
As the Experience Designer & Visual Developer, I was responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the project, including:
Strategic Architecture: Restructuring the site’s information architecture to prioritize user discoverability.
Visual & Functional Design: Executing the redesign using WordPress and Elementor to achieve a modern, minimalist, and functional aesthetic.
Technical Implementation: Building a dedicated, searchable research database for toolkit and case study resources.
Platform Governance: Transitioning into a long-term maintenance lead to oversee security protocols, performance optimization, and content strategy.

The site failed to mirror the professional caliber of the organization’s work.
