As the lead UI/UX Designer for the Geken project, I was responsible for the entire design process, from initial research and concept development to the final implementation of the mobile application and website.

The cryptocurrency market is complex and volatile. Existing trading platforms often present users with overwhelming information, confusing interfaces, and a lack of security. This can lead to frustration, confusion, and ultimately, a negative trading experience. Geken was poised with making a strong statement in the crypto network and wanted an application with a simple flow and basic experience that even a 5 year old could understand.

The goal here was to design a user-friendly and secure cryptocurrency trading platform that is accessible to both novice and experienced traders. The platform should simplify the trading process by making it easy to buy, sell, and exchange cryptocurrencies, have an enhanced security with a robust security measure implemented to protect user funds and personal information, provide a seamless and intuitive user experience by creating a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate interface, and most of all, building trust and confidence by establishing a sense of security and reliability through clear communication and transparent information.

The design process was guided by a human-centered approach, prioritizing user needs and preferences at every stage. We utilized the following framework:
User Research: Conducted thorough user interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and expectations.
Information Architecture: Defined the structure and flow of information within the platform, ensuring a clear and intuitive user journey.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the user interface and iterated on designs based on user feedback. Developed high-fidelity prototypes for testing and refinement.
Visual Design: Developed a visually appealing and consistent brand identity, including color palettes, typography, and iconography.
Usability Testing: Conducted rigorous usability testing with target users to identify and address any usability issues.
